See the Netflix star’s glamorous street style at the NYFW fall/winter 2023 fashion shows
Tina Leung is absolutely killing it at New York Fashion Week. No surprise there, given that the star of Netflix’s Bling Empire: New York has made a living of putting together spectacular outfits for more than a decade now.
For NYFW’s fall/winter 2023 season, however, Leung’s eclectic style is out in full force. The best example came from the Jason Wu fashion show, where the Bling Empire cast member chose to wear a flamboyant tinsel fringe dress—in gold, no less. The look, which is from Wu’s spring/summer 2023 collection, would rightly intimidate anyone else who didn’t have Leung’s daring approach to dressing. But the seasoned stylist and Instagram influencer showed off the party-ready ensemble in broad daylight, pairing it with gold lace-up sandals and covering up in a white felt coat for New York’s chilly weather.

Leung is certainly not one to shy away from a little sparkle. The Hong Kong-born fashionista turned up the shine at the Altazurra runway show, where she flaunted the brand’s metallic Kandoro midi dress, complete with pleats. At Area’s fashion show, which was also attended by her Bling Empire co-stars Lynn Ban and Blake Abbie, Leung glittered in the New York fashion label’s crystal-covered mussel flower top and matching pants.
If Leung was the picture of Y2K glamour at Area, she completely transformed into a ‘90s goth queen at Marc Jacobs’ fashion show. There, the plum-lipped style star donned a high-neck ruched satin dress, paired with a long draped skirt, leather gloves and TikTok’s favourite Marc Jacobs Kiki boots. Wednesday Addams would approve.

Elsewhere during Fashion Week, Leung lightened up with outfits that suited her mint-hued hair. Cases in point: her neon yellow lace look for the Proenza Schouler show, or the fuzzy green knits she wore to the Rodarte presentation. Both showcase Leung’s flair for tonal dressing, while also making us seriously reconsider pastel green hair dye.
