No, the Sanrio toy wasn’t a sly form of product placement. Jisoo is genuinely a fan of the Japanese cartoon character; she’s been spotted using Hello Kitty phone cases, Hello Kitty masks, and headphones decorated with Hello Kitty stickers. For Blackpink’s Pink Venom comeback, she even flaunted pink nail designs that featured the adorable cat.

Even if you’re not a fan of the famous cat, Jisoo’s choice of accessory imparts an important style lesson that we can all learn from: when it comes to fashion, girls just want to have fun.
