With sunlit views of Manila Bay and a spectrum of leisure offerings, Solaire Resort Entertainment City anchors Parañaque’s Bay City as an integrated enclave that pairs Filipino warmth with high luxury and entertainment flair
Facing the shimmering expanse of Manila Bay, the reclaimed bay-front district of Bay City has been designated for “integrated resorts”–a world-class entertainment and tourism corridor redefining the city of Parañaque in Metro Manila.
Leveraging Manila’s golden sunsets, sweeping bayside vistas, and strategic location–just 15 minutes from Ninoy Aquino International Airport and 20 minutes from the central business districts–the idea is to convert what was once peripheral land into a magnet for global-scale resort leisure, retail and nightlife entertainment.

Above Unobstructed views over Manila Bay
We arrived at Solaire Resort Entertainment City in the late afternoon. The familiar traffic of Metro Manila eased into calm once we turned onto the wide stretch of Asean Avenue, the gateway to Bay City. As the sun dipped toward the horizon, the resort’s façade seemed to glow with a quiet hum of activity bordering on spectacle.
Stepping into the 8.3-hectare ‘city within a city,’ one can’t help but notice that its design and ambition borrow from global resort models such as those in Singapore, Las Vegas, or, conceptually, the mega-resorts of Cotai in Macau.
Yet, the architecture and setting of Solaire Resort, designed by Paul Steelman of Steelman Partners, remain rooted in Filipino hospitality—from the seamless check-in that exudes ease despite the grand lobby, to the over 3,000 artworks by emerging Filipino artists adorning the premises, infusing the property with distinct local character.
Refined retreats
Comprising two soaring towers–Bay Tower and Sky Tower–Solaire Resort houses nearly 800 guest rooms, suites, and villas, with the Chairman’s Suite crowning the property as its ultimate showpiece.
While the 4,250-sq-ft Chairman’s Suite features an outdoor deck with a private Jacuzzi and unobstructed sunset views over Manila Bay, the Sky Studio King rooms equal parts exclusivity and comfort: featuring marble bathrooms, spacious walk-in closets, and floor-to-ceiling windows framing either city skylines or tranquil bay vistas.

Wellness pursuits
One of the resort’s charms is its self-contained experience—the ability to unwind, dine, and rejuvenate without ever stepping outside. Guests can lounge beside the 72-metre outdoor pool, soak in the Jacuzzi, or indulge in a restorative treatment at Asmara Spa.
For those seeking something distinctive, the indoor Sky Range Shooting Club offers a one-of-a-kind recreation experience rarely found elsewhere in Southeast Asia. Whereas, the Solaire Sports Club provides pickleball, padel, and golf simulation workouts, ensuring guests stay entertained and active within the resort’s luxurious enclave.
