Come November 20 to 23, the second edition of Pair’d Margaret River Region festival will take place in Western Australia’s famed wine regions, bringing some of the world’s best chefs for some food, wines and music
Today, luxury is defined by experiences; those special moments that move us and linger in our memory. The Pair’d Margaret River Region food and wine festival, which returns for its second edition from November 20 to 23, embodies this, as it brings together the world’s finest chefs for three days of exceptional food and wine in Western Australia’s renowned wine region.
Pair’d festival director Hannah Pike, who was in Singapore last month to give us a peek of the event with a curated wine pairing lunch at Burnt Ends, shares that Pair’d Margaret River Region is the first festival in Australia that follows the “wine first approach”. As she explains: “The festival’s aim is to create thoughtful pairings—just as a sommelier matches wine with food and flavour profiles, we want to do the same with our events. It’s about bringing together wine, music and food…these are all paired with certain stories.”

With Australia’s rich and storied history, the festival offers much to discover through the 25 curated events over three days. Western Australia’s reputation as a wine destination takes centre stage in experiences such as Wine on Water and Walk the Vine. The former goes beyond the quintessential wine tasting, beginning with whale watching aboard a catamaran before segueing into a sunset canapé cruise paired with Clairault Streicker wines. Walk the Vine brings wine lovers back to the source, with an immersive winery visit that culminates in a seasonal menu crafted by Vintner Wine Bar chef Nico Delorme.
The festival will also highlight Singapore’s top chefs, among which are Dave Pynt, chef-owner of Burnt Ends; Julien Royer, chef-owner of Odette; and Rishi Naleendra, chef-owner of Cloudstreet.

Pynt, for instance, will be cooking with friends in the aptly named Burnt Ends and Friends barbecue gathering at Wills Domain vineyard. Joining him are Francis Mallmann, the “Godfather of Fire”; Andy Hearnden, Perth’s own barbecue King; Don Macdonald, the founder of multi-awarded restaurant Big Don’s Smoked Meats; and Wills Domain’s very own Sergio Labbe and Jed Gerrard. Each chef will create their own flame-kissed dish cooked over fire, with the option to pair these with wines.
Royer will make his festival debut with a refined four-course menu crafted with Cam Jones, Western Australia Good Food Guide Regional Chef of the Year, while Naleendra and De’sendent chef-owner Evan Hayter will be highlighting Australia’s locally grown produce in their joint menu paired with Krug champagne and Howard Park Wines.
While Pair’d Margaret River Region is only on its second edition, Pike adds that she hopes for food and wine lovers to discover these coveted “luxury experiences that will define 2026, as we continue to elevate Pair’d into a world class celebration of place, creativity and connection”.
