Cover Lotus Cars Malaysia expands its footprint in Malaysia with a new store

The new store brings a blend of innovation and tradition by offering an unparalleled experience in vehicle personalisation and the latest in electric luxury driving

Lotus Cars marks a new chapter with the opening of its first Lotus Store in Pavilion Damansara Heights. Spanning an elegant 173.58 square metres, the store welcomes enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike, less than a year following the debut of its groundbreaking all-electric Hyper-SUV, the Lotus Eletre.

The store’s design mirrors Lotus’s revamped global identity, offering an immersive experience and showcasing the latest jewels in Lotus’s crown in Malaysia—the Eletre and the Emira. Additionally, the store features a configurator room where customers can tailor their vehicles to the minutest detail, ranging from vehicle exterior for trim, paint colour, wheels and tyres, brake calliper colour, brake specifications, and badging, while interior kit can also be selected for materials, theme, seat belts, steering wheel and carbon-fibre inlays, along with the selection of equipment packs.

Inside features a 8.4 square metre LED screen which greets visitors with captivating displays, encapsulating the essence of Lotus’s pioneering spirit. According to Lotus, it’s a prelude to the upcoming flagship showroom in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, set to open later this year along with Lotus Mobile Service Solution as the brand seeks to expand its footprint in the country.

“Here, the process of reintroducing the brand not only involved reassuring existing Lotus customers that we are here to care for their needs, but it was also paramount to have them and new potential customers accept, understand and embrace the new Lotus philosophy and global direction to build premium and top tier vehicles without having to compromise on the Lotus ideals, namely the pure enjoyment of driving,” said Jack Zaal, general manager of Lotus Cars Malaysia.

Since its renewed focus in 2018, Lotus has not only reassured its loyal clientele of its unparalleled service but also introduced a new generation to the exhilarating Lotus driving experience, aligning with Malaysia’s embrace of vehicle electrification.
