This stunning 56th-floor penthouse by Prestige Global Designs marries the home’s cinematic vistas of Sentosa with striking interiors and an effortless air of sophistication

Nestled on the 56th floor of a sleek private development located in Singapore’s District 3, this 1,668 sq ft penthouse is far more than just an address. With panoramic views of Sentosa Island and the city skyline, it is both a family sanctuary and an entertainer’s dream.

The well-appointed apartment belongs to a family of five—comprising two working professionals as well as their three children—and was transformed by Prestige Global Designs into a home that is as warmly welcoming as it is visually impressive.

Four bedrooms, soaring ceilings and an effortless flow between the living and dining areas form the architectural backbone of the design. Yet, it’s the meticulous attention to detail that elevates this residence to something quite extraordinary. “The clients wanted a home that reflected their lifestyle, blending functionality with the wow factor,” shares Jeremy Tay, co-founder of Prestige Global Designs.

The result is an abode that dazzles, with each corner designed to serve as a perfect backdrop for family life and social gatherings.

A hallmark of this penthouse is the poetic articulation of its rarefied view. The living and dining areas are bathed in hues inspired by the golden sunsets over Sentosa, with an ombre wallcovering that seems to bring the sky into the home. “The sunsets visible from this penthouse are breathtaking, and we wanted to bring that magic indoors,” explains Tay. Pendant lights by Moooi, designed to evoke the twinkling stars, add a sense of celestial wonder and set the perfect mood for entertaining.

Materials also play a key role in reinforcing this harmony with nature. Oversized tiles with delicate, nature-inspired accents create texture and warmth, creating an inviting yet sophisticated aesthetic. Bespoke furniture, including a Roche Bobois coffee table and Commune dining set, anchors the space with understated elegance.

As Tay notes: “The design celebrates the views, creating a serene environment that feels effortlessly connected to the surroundings while catering to moments of togetherness.”

This penthouse was crafted with the entertainer in mind. The open-plan layout, dramatic ceiling heights and panoramic views create an immediate sense of occasion. Whether hosting intimate dinners or lively soirées, the space adapts beautifully. The dining area, crowned by sculptural pendant lights, offers a chic yet relaxed setting for gatherings, while the living room’s airy design encourages easy interaction between guests.

A carefully curated material and furniture palette ensures a seamless blend of practicality and elegance. The Commune dining table and chairs lend a touch of warmth, while the whimsical Lladro horse sculpture on the table is an instant conversation starter.

“The design invites guests to relax, enjoy the views, and feel at ease,” Tay elaborates. The penthouse even features a cosy piano nook at which the homeowner delights guests with impromptu performances, enriching the atmosphere with music. Carved from an underused pantry space, this area adds a dose of personality and charm. “It’s a special corner where the homeowner connects with her guests through music,” shares Tay.

For more casual gatherings, the expansive balcony becomes a natural extension of the entertaining areas. The sweeping views and thoughtful design ensure the penthouse shines both in the day and at night. As Tay sums up: “This home transforms hosting into an effortless joy. Every detail—from the layout to the lighting—has been designed to inspire connection and celebration.”

Despite its grandeur, this penthouse doesn’t lose sight of the family’s everyday needs. Each child’s bedroom balances individuality and function, with ergonomic layouts and built-in study desks. “The daughters’ rooms are compact, but thoughtfully designed to maximise space,” shares Tay. The master bedroom, a tranquil retreat with nature-inspired wallpaper, provides a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Completed in just three months, this turnkey project demonstrates Prestige Global Designs’ ability to blend artistry with liveability. By crafting a home that balances grandeur with intimacy, and sophistication with warmth, this penthouse is the ultimate embodiment of bespoke luxury.

It’s a space designed to inspire—a haven for the family and an entertainer’s paradise for their guests. As Tay puts it: “This is not just a home; it’s a statement of how design can bring people together and create moments that are worth remembering.”
