In July, we welcomed the latest cohort of Gen.T honourees from Singapore through four events held over two days at the Porsche Studio Singapore
Every year, we scour the region to identify Asia’s brightest young minds shaping the future. The six-month process culminates in the release of the Tatler Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow, an annual list recognising the trailblazers and innovators from 20 different categories.
To celebrate the launch of the list, we host events to welcome the newest honourees across our seven markets—from cocktail parties to sit-down dinners.

In Singapore, the celebrations took place over two days in early July, with the support of our partners Intel, Lenovo Singapore and Porsche Singapore. Our venue of choice: the two-storey Porsche Studio Singapore that opened this past January. We transformed the showroom-cum-lifestyle space into the first-ever Gen.T House to host four events and just over 100 guests.
The two-day programme was planned to inspire learning and a sense of community, with attendees engaging in events, including an Ask Me Anything session on health optimisation and an evening of speed networking with mentors ranging from venture capitalists to CEOs of conglomerates. See the highlights below.

Day 1
We kicked off the festivities on July 8 with lunchtime yoga and meditation led by Lab Studios’ Jasmine Chong to awaken and energise the mind and body.

Following that, guests participated in an Ask Me Anything session with Chong and healthcare and fitness expert Dr Dean Ho, who is director of the Institute of Digital Medicine at the National University of Singapore. Gen.T’s digital editor Valerie Lim moderated the conversation, covering topics such as managing stress, improving sleep and understanding the body as a story rather than a snapshot.
The biggest takeaway was how movement and fitness are some of the best ways of building our bodies’ defence against chronic diseases and improving overall health.

In the evening, a group of 20 Gen.T honourees took part in a speed networking event featuring 10 mentors, including Singtel Singapore’s Ng Tian Chong, City Developments Limited’s Esther An, Miniwiz’s Mark Wee and Raise’s Alfie Othman.
Given just 10 minutes with each mentor, the honourees fired away their most burning questions about career, industry trends, fundraising, personal development and more, resulting in deep conversations and valuable connections.

Day 2
The second day of celebrations on July 9 started with a roundtable discussion with top leaders and technology experts from Intel and Lenovo Singapore. Moderated by Gen.T’s Chong Seow Wei, the intimate lunch session revolved around the conversation of artificial intelligence’s role in enhancing the online security of businesses, from startups to corporations.
The key takeaway is that AI can help automate tasks to build up a company’s defence system, but business leaders must build cybersecurity into their game plan from day one.

As night fell, the second floor of Porsche Studio Singapore was transformed again for the main highlight of the two days: the Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow celebration dinner and after-party.
Actress and singer Annette Lee, who is a 2023 Gen.T honouree, was the emcee, keeping the energy of the crowd high with witty jokes and an energetic performance, where she got the crowd singing along to her renditions of Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way and the Mandarin version of Coldplay’s Yellow.

Guests also dug into a four-course dinner specially prepared by Baker and Cook, paired with beers from Crust—owned by 2024 honouree Travin Singh—Dalmore whiskey, champagne and wines.
Tatler Asia COO Parminder Singh also took to the stage to welcome the newest cohort of Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow and invited them to harness the regional Gen.T network for professional and personal growth.
The evening culminated in the formal introduction of the 43 new Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow from Singapore. The honourees were presented with personalised magazine covers, which symbolised not just a recognition of their accomplishments so far, but the potential that each honouree possesses in shaping the future.
Group photos were taken to commemorate the moment before the after-party began. With DJ Aldrin on the decks playing a perfect mix of dance classics and new hits, honourees continued to mingle and make merry until well into the night.
