We’ve rounded up six delicatessens boasting Spanish, Italian, and Mediterranean groceries

Olivia Deli
Southern European deli shop Olivia Deli is located within APW Bangsar. The restaurant shelves are stacked with an assortment of colourful Portuguese and Spanish groceries, from tinned seafood and jams to spiced oils and even Portuguese cereals. Not to be missed are its daily specials, which often include paella, tapas, and selected cold cuts.

Bottega
With outlets across Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Italian café and grocer Bottega is loved for its flavourful Mediterranean plates. However, the restaurant is also filled with imported, high-quality groceries from Italy, Spain, and France, such as cold cuts, foie gras, bread, and cheese.

The sister arm of Anne Elizabeth in Cheras, Anne Lourdes is delicatessen focused on Southern European cuisine. Expect a selection of marinated meats, from chicken roulade infused with sun-dried tomatoes, lamb bacon made in-house, semi-smoked iberico collars, cold cut platters, and more.
Guests can also dine in and expect a menu of prawn bisque, serrano ham platters, iberico pizza, steaks, lamb cutlets, and more.

La Tasca Del Mercat
Located on the exterior of 1 Mont Kiara, La Tasca Del Mercat is a gourmet Spanish produce store that is an extension of tapas restaurant Mercat Barcelona Gastrobar. Walk in and you are greeted with freshly sliced Iberico ham, premium oils and vinegars, and of course, a selection of wines.

La Spiga D’oro was founded by a husband-and-wife-duo who dreamed of bringing rustic Italian comfort food to Kuala Lumpur. The small delicatessen is best known for its loaded schiacciata (crisp Italian bread) sandwiches bursting with cold cuts. However, cheese, salads, and gelato are also available on the menu.
