The Italian job
Experience a unique collaboration next month by Estro and Bar Leone that combines Roman and Neapolitan food and cocktail culture. On April 2, from 6.30 pm, the Italian restaurant and bar unite to present a six-course themed menu at Estro. Led by chef Antimo Maria Merone, the six course menu includes the likes of carciofi alla giudia with artichoke, red prawn and burrata, followed by spaghetti cacio e pepe and bottoni all’amatriciana with tomato and guanciale. This is complemented by a cocktail pairing by Bar Leone’s mixologist Lorenzo Antinori. The menu is available at HK$1,280 per person, or HK$1,680 for the complete experience, including cocktail pairings. Limited to only 28 covers, this event promises an intimate evening celebrating Italia in Hong Kong. The collaboration continues on April 28, with Estro’s Neapolitan snacks pop-up at Bar Leone, offering an opportunity to savour Merone’s cuisine in the cosy ambience of Bar Leone.
