Halloween 2024: The spookiest eats, sips, and parties in the Klang Valley

A bakery that focuses solely on light and airy madeleines, Bake Brown has released a trio of adorably spooky bakes. Perfect for when you feel like getting into the Halloween spirit or to fortify an at-home Halloween party spread, you’ll find madeleines disguised as skulls and mummies here.

Sandwiches may not be the spookiest of meals but VCR Stacks is changing that this Halloween. Available at VCR Stacks Mont Kiara and The Exchange TRX, the sandwich spot’s newest series highlights bread dyed black with charcoal. Expect slightly more ghoulish versions of its ebi sando, chicken katsu, and egg sando.

On November 1, Flock at W Kuala Lumpur will host a Halloween party that defies the conventions of the holiday with a hauntingly delicious seafood feast including lobster claws and fresh oysters.

Limited to 30 tickets only, Triple Decker and Sōfte’s Halloween collaboration is set to take place on October 31. Head to Ilham Tower between 6:30 and 10:30 pm to get your hands on a smashed Angus cheeseburger dressed in orange-hued sauce, Sōfte’s haunted apple yuzu tart topped with a ghoulishly green dressing, and kombucha of your choice. 

Something spooky for halloween? Groundbreaking. Here & Now, however, is putting its own spin on the occasion, hosting a series of RIP (Rest in Pyjamas) parties from October 30 to November 2. If there’s nothing scarier to you than waking up early, this is your chance to head out dressed in your comfiest sleepwear for a night of Here & Now’s signature tipples.
