Filipino restaurant Barkada has partnered with local bakery Queso Bakehouse for a one-day-only collaboration. On April 26 from 12pm, the restaurant will serve three cheesecake flavours inspired by classic Filipino desserts. The ube halo-halo blends the earthy umami of the tuber with the charred sweetness of caramelised flan; the taho pairs the creaminess of cheesecake with silky tofu pudding and chewy sago pearls; while the mango float is a riff on Barkada’s crowd-favourite dessert with layers of whipped cream, crushed Biscoff cookies and fresh mango.
