Salisterra at The Upper House is collaborating with Matchali to present a new limited-edition menu that’s guaranteed to satisfy any matcha cravings. The set showcases a variety of matcha-infused bites, where guests can enjoy sweets and savouries including matcha burnt Basque cheesecake, hojicha tart with lemon and pear, and black sesame matcha chouquette with azuki beans, accompanied by freshly baked raisin scones with matcha clotted cream and mango yuzu jam.

Wash it all down with the hand-whisked matcha latte, hojicha latte, or special green tea cocktails for a truly indulgent experience.

Head over to The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong to get a taste of five-star luxury and feast on premium teatime delicacies—all set against the backdrop of the hotel’s luxury interiors and elegant furnishings.

In celebration of springtime, the hotel has launched a new Japanese tea menu that offers a wide selection of bite-sized treats inspired by beautiful Sakura blossoms. Aside from savouries including mini sandwich with smoked chicken, ricotta cheese and picked sakura, snow crab meat with daishi gelée and salmon tartlet, diners will also be able to enjoy dainty sweets such as strawberry red bean mouse cake, hojicha peach verrine, and purple sweet potato choux.

3. Four Seasons Hong Kong

Four Seasons Hong Kong is celebrating Easter with a special menu that features all kinds of holiday-themed treats to delight the most discerning tea connoisseurs this season.

In addition to savouries including smoked salmon guacamole sando, foie gras terrine, quail egg, and char siu salad, guests will also enjoy freshly baked scones and a variety of Easter sweets such as macarons and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. That’s not all, guests booking the tea during the Easter weekend (April 15-18) will also be treated to unlimited chocolate espuma with fruit compote on Easter egg, waffles, and hot cross bun lemon gelato sandwiches at the live cooking station.

The hotel has also launched a new Sakura-themed takeaway set that’s perfect for those who want to enjoy afternoon tea in the comfort of their homes.

4. The Peninsula Hong Kong

Served in the glamorous surrounds of The Lobby, afternoon tea at The Peninsula Hong Kong—the true grand dame hotel—is always guaranteed to be a pleasant experience. This season, the hotel is giving a fresh update to its traditional tea offerings, where guests can look forward to a new menu curated by chef Anton Ho.

The set comprises a variety of savouries, including signature cucumber sandwiches, black pudding croquettes with roasted tomatoes, chicken tartlets with mango chutney, and chilled green pea soup with smoked salmon, alongside equally delicious sweets such as sherry trifle cake, banoffee tart with caramelised condensed milk, lemon posset cheesecake, as well as scones to complement your meal.

5. Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong

Calling all beauty lovers—this one’s for you. A collaboration with luxury Japanese beauty brand IPSA, Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong’s new tea menu is filled with a delectable mix of sweet and savoury treats to offer dinners a taste of Japan made with the finest ingredients.

Come hungry and feast on savoury bites such as shrimp burger with honey mustard in green tea bun, tuna tataki with honey yuzu sauce and caviar, and sushi sandwich with roasted duck. There are also Insta-worthy desserts including baked cheese tart with Japanese strawberries and yuzu curd, panna cotta with berries, and freshly baked yuzu and matcha scones to satisfy your sweet tooth.

With each purchase of the tea set, guests will also receive a complimentary gift set featuring IPSA’s hero skincare products.

6. Nina Patisserie

Artisanal pastry shop Nina Patisserie has joined forces with I-O-N Café Bar at Central Market to present a new “Cha-addition” tea set this April, where diners can look forward to a tempting selection of nibbles with some Japanese flair, such as foie gras French toast, crab meat salad toast with genmaicha foam, beetroot salmon roll with matcha cream cheese. There’s also a variety of sweet confections including Uji matcha red bean chiffon cake, hojicha brown sugar mochi chestnut roll, hojicha purple sweet potato mont blanc, as well as scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.

On the other hand, Nina Patisserie is running a new “Spring in Japan” tea menu at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West that’s available for both dine-in and takeaway. Highlights of the menu include tea egg salad and cherry tomato tartlet, crispy crabmeat salad with avocado puree on brioche toast, hojicha brown sugar mochi chetnut roll, and Uji matcha yuzu opera cake.

Inspired by Atelier Cologne’s signature springtime fragrances, Madame Fù’s new afternoon tea menu will whisk you away to the sunny destination of your dreams. Presented on a three-tiered stand, the set includes a beautiful range of savoury delights such as crab salad with sudachi ponzo and kabosu zest, mini foie gras pineapple bun, and egg tamago with fresh pomelo. On the sweet side, you’ll find oolong tea baba with bergamot cream, osmanthus warabi mochi, as well as scones served with clotted cream and rose petal jam.
