A perfectly roasted turkey is a quintessential centrepiece in every Christmas spread. The bird’s moist and succulent meat and delicious trimmings are something most of us have longed for all year.
 
While Christmas is still a few weeks away, it is never too early to prepare for this holiday by pre-ordering your turkeys. Here are some of our favourites this year.

4. Intercontinental Singapore

Intercontinental Singapore introduces two turkey offerings this season that showcase the flavours of East and West. For something more classic, opt for the traditional roast tom turkey which features a 5kg turkey with chestnut stuffing and giblet gravy. And for something more unconventional, the Asian chilli spiced roast tom turkey features familiar Asian flavours. The latter is first coated with a custom chilli spice blend and marinated for 24 hours, before it is slow roasted to a juicy and succulent finish. 5. Ryan’s Grocery

Gourmands can delight in the premium grocer's two exclusive offerings—organic and classic turkeys. The former is perfect for the health conscious, as the bird is GMO free and fed with a 100 per cent vegetarian diet that is enhanced with vitamins and minerals. This gives the bird a more flavourful meat, which is heightened when it's deliciously roasted and served with cranberry sauce. 

The classic roast turkey is another sumptuous Christmas creation that is filled with a savoury and nutty chicken stuffing; it also comes with the housemade cranberry sauce to sweeten the offering. Look out for its roasted turkey stuffed with black truffle paste and meticulously slow baked for two and a half hours to ensure a crisp skin and succulent meat. 8. The Salon

For a unique Asian take to this ubiquitous Christmas dish, The Salon at Hotel Fort Canning is offering the assam pedas turkey. The culinary team's masterful creation is done by giving the turkey a rub down with aromatics and slow roasting it to infuse the luscious flavours down to the core. Sprmrkt drew inspiration from local cuisine to create a roast turkey that comes with a sumptuous stuffing of fragrant and crispy claypot rice, sweet lap cheong (Chinese sausage), shiitake mushrooms and salted fish. The 4 to 5kg bird is then roasted to a succulent and crisp finish, and served with an umami-packed turkey jus and house-made cranberry sauce.
