Halloween is this weekend and while the current Covid-19 situation and restrictions may mean that we have a limited number of spooky events to enjoy, it isn’t stopping us from enjoying a socially distanced scary night in with some fun shows.

In fact, in honour of the festivities, Disney Plus has released a slew of new horror content that is sure to put you right in the Halloween mood.
From shows that are perfect for your Tatlings to ones that will appeal to the adults in the room, here are all the new Halloween offerings on Disney Plus that you just have to binge-watch this weekend.

1. Just Beyond

Just Beyond is one of Disney Plus’ latest originals which are based on the legendary work of R.L.Stine, the famed author of young adult horror novels such as Goosebumps and Fear Street.
This eight-episode anthology series tells the story of a reality that takes place just beyond the one that we know.
Each episode introduces viewers to new characters who are on a journey of self-discovery in this mystical and supernatural world. With witches, aliens, ghosts and more, this is certainly the perfect film to catch this Halloween.

2. Muppets Haunted Mansion

World-famous daredevil, The Great Gonzo has really done it all at this point. However, there is one thing he hasn’t done and in the Muppets Haunted Mansion, he decides to take on his greatest challenge yet by spending the night in the terrifying Haunted Mansion.
Joined by this friend Pepé the King Prawn, viewers will be taken on a musical and spooky journey through the horrifying mansion.
This is certainly one show that will appeal to everyone in the family.

3. What If…Zombies?

What If…Zombies? is the fifth episode of the first season of the animated television series What If...?. The show is based on the Marvel comics which share the same name and looks at what would have happened in the Marvel universe if certain events had happened differently.
In this episode, viewers get to see what would have happened if some of the members of the Avengers had become zombies and if they had started a worldwide zombie apocalypse.
Fans of Marvel will certainly enjoy this episode on Halloween as they watch survivors search for a cure amidst the growing chaos.

Starring Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Cristela Alonzo, Grace Song and Olivia Sullivent, this is set to be a heartwarming and deeply relatable Halloween show for every teenager in your life.

5. Star Wars Terrifying Tales

Lego is back with another seasonal celebration with their all-new Star Wars Terrifying Tales. This short show takes place after the events of The Rise of Skywalker where Poe and BB-8 need to make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet of Mustafar.
There, the pair meet Graballa the Hutt who has purchased Darth Vadar’s castle and is in the midst of renovating it into the galaxy’s first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury hotel.
As Poe and BB-8 are taken through the castle, they are regaled with three terrifying tales that are linked to ancient artefacts and iconic villains from across all eras of the franchise.
If you are a Star Wars fan, this is something not to be missed.
