The opulent ceremony brought together the best of Chinese and Western wedding traditions
After her lavish guo da li (过大礼) ceremony last week, billionaire heiress Kim Lim held her wedding solemnisation on what was reportedly one of the most popular days to get married this year: February 22, 2022.
Starting off at Lim’s family home, the ceremony saw Lim dressed in a white wedding gown from The Ivory Bridal. The two-piece Vera Wang ensemble featured a long-sleeved crop top and a tiered tulle skirt. The look was complemented with a floor-length gossamer veil.
Lim finished the look with a classic French manicure by homegrown nail salon Glitzy Fingers. She also showed off their wedding rings, which were Laurence Graff Signature wedding bands from luxury jeweller Graff.
Her groom, whose name we can now reveal as Leslie, was dressed simply in a black tuxedo with a bow tie.

The ceremony itself was garden-themed and designed by wedding planner, The Wedding Atelier. The location featured a backdrop covered in pink and cream roses as well as various abundant arrangements of hydrangeas designed by The Floral Atelier.
The couple’s initials ‘K’ and ‘L’ were also artfully placed and were decked out in roses that matched the backdrop. The ceremony reportedly took place on the patio of her 6,000 sq ft duplex penthouse.
