In tandem with the season of giving, Tatler Malaysia's most anticipated event of the year was made especially meaningful this year by a crowdfunding campaign on Give.asia in partnership with the NGO Bantu Heroes Sabah to benefit underprivileged children in Sabah affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

To kick off the charitable initiative, Pavilion Collection generously contributed RM10,000 along with a towering Christmas tree at Tatler Ball, decorated with tags bearing the names and ages of the young recipients.

Adding to this festive glow were elaborate Christmas-inspired decorations by Bayu Timor Production and Razak Luxe Decor—think gold floral centrepieces, glittering chandeliers and even floating Christmas trees!

At each table, cards were placed for guests to pen their personal notes to the kids in Sabah, to be hand-delivered by Tatler Malaysia's Influence Award recipient Dato' Dr Hartini Zainudin, on her visit there next year.

If ever there were a time to raise a glass with friends, this was it. Courtesy of Moët Hennessy Diageo Malaysia, the evening started on a high note with delicious Hennessy V.S.O.P and Hennessy X.O cocktails expertly crafted and enjoyed alongside canapes by Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

A generous flow of Moët & Chandon Brut paired perfectly with a delectable five-course dinner by Chef Junious Dickerson, along with a crisp Terrazas Reserve Chardonnay and Terrazas Reserve Malbec for the second and third courses respectively.

Say cheese! Thanks to Samsung, our Tatler friends had the chance to capture photos and videos together at the ball using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3, generating a buzz of Instagram posts with the hashtags #TatlerBallMY and #WithGalaxy.

Another heartwarming highlight that enlivened the evening's awards ceremony: Before the three awardees took to the stage, they were surprised with video tributes filmed in collaboration with Samsung, featuring friends and loved ones offering their congratulations.
