Get to know the adorable furbabies sharing the limelight with your favourite celebrities

It’s always uplifting to see celebrities with their cuddly companion, whether it’s a cute puppy or a grumpy cat. Here are some of the most adorable pets of our favourite personalities:

1. V and Kim Yeontan

Kim Yeontan, V of BTS' teacup Pomeranian dog, recently turned two years old on September 9. Not only is this tiny pup loved by his owner and his friends, but he is also adored by the artist's fanbase worldwide. But what happens when you put a beloved idol next to a loveable dog? It goes viral almost instantly.

2. Taylor Swift and Benjamin

Taylor Swift always tends to name her pets after fictional characters. The Scottish fold cat named Meredith Grey (inspired by the show Grey’s Anatomy) that Swift pertains to in the video (above) may not be photogenic, but her other friendly feline named after the protagonist of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is certainly the opposite. Benjamin, a ragdoll kitten, may be new to the Swift household, but he’s already known by the artist’s fans as he appeared in the ME! music video.

3. Ryan Reynolds and Baxter

One moment Baxter lived in an animal shelter, and later he’s living with Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds wasn’t intending to adopt a dog, but Baxter had other plans that day by capturing the heart of the actor. Even his wife, Blake Lively, adores the family dog. They also celebrated Baxter’s birthday in 2020 the Reynolds family way: with a lot of heart and humour as they share a troll post on social media.

4. Ariana Grande and Lafayette

Other than Ariana Grande’s adorable beagle-chihuahua, Toulouse, the Grammy-winning singer also has a pet named Lafayette who has also won the hearts of her followers on Instagram after posting a selfie with the brown bloodhound dog. Grande has had Lafayette since 2016 and often makes an appearance on her stories.

5. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lulu, and Whiskey

Arnold Schwarzenegger has a few pet dogs, but the actor also has a friendly donkey named Lulu and a pony named Whiskey living in his house. Schwarzenegger finds the horses a wonderful addition to the household as they keep make him laugh. He also has a YouTube channel where he's shared a video clip of his horses blissfully running around his backyard.

6. Gwyneth Paltrow and Daffodil

Gwyneth Paltrow’s maltese dog has been with the actress for years. Until now, the love between the two grows stronger, with Paltrow consistently posting a photo of her dogs including Daffodil during National Dog Day.

7. Chrissy Teigen and Penny

Penny, the three-legged dog of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, has joined a dog-loving home. She has been part of the family since 2014. The rescue pup is also an adorable French bulldog, much like the family’s other dogs Pippa (who passed, unfortunately) and Puddy.

8. Hugh Jackman and Dali

French bulldogs can be friendly and warm when they find the companion they’re meant to be with. In Dali’s case, he’s found a home in Hugh Jackman. Although a hired trainer walked out on the bulldog, Jackman admits that he’ll still stick with the dog for life. In fact, he has formed a bond with Dali—a bond so strong that the pup refuses to let Jackman leave for tour. Now who can resist a clingy, little dog like Dali?

9. Paris Hilton and all of her pets

While many people think of Paris Hilton's cats and dogs as mere pets, Paris treats them like her kids. She also gladly spoils them with clothes, bling and more like her own kids. Hilton even brings them with her everywhere she goes as they’re usually small enough for her to cradle.
