Looking for the best wellness events in town? This month, Coastal Fitness will be hosting a healthy lifestyle talk, while several mental health events will be taking place surrounding World Mental Health Day on October 10
Welcome back to our monthly series where we round up the best health and wellness events in Hong Kong.
From World Mental Health Day events at Central Harbourfront, to a yoga and breakfast session at Kerry Hotel, your October will be packed with wellness events happening around town.

Mental Health Pop-Up by Talking Mental
When: October 2 to 11
Where: Across Hong Kong
Talking Mental has launched its annual Walk & Talk seven-day series on October 2, leading walks around different parts of Hong Kong for the entire day. During these walks, founder Aaron Stadlin-Robbie will be sparking conversations on mental health to help break the taboo surrounding the topic.
Aside from the walk, the company will also be launching a Talking Mental Hub, a two-day pop-up event on the weekend of October 9 at Central Harbourfront. There, six panel discussions will be held every day discussing themes and concepts surrounding mental health such as anxiety, relationships, and sleep & prevention. On October 9, Brian Lai, Hong Kong's breathwork, ice bath expert and Lululemon ambassador will also be leading an ice bath breathing session that’s open to the public.

Exclusive Access to Asaya’s New Wellness Programme by Tatler Unlisted

Tatler Unlisted’s offer for this week gives you a chance to be the first in line to experience Rosewood’s new wellness programme, A Team when it launches from November 1 to November 27. The offer includes priority booking to the wellness programme as well as access to Rosewood’s famed infinity pool and fitness centre. Sex, Sleep and CBD by Studio La Lune

Women-only wellness space, Studio La Lune will be hosting a new series of events that take place during after work hours. The first event on the lineup, “Sex, Sleep and CBD” will include sharing from wellness experts Viv Kan, a mindful intimacy coach for women and couples, and Alice from Bae, a local CBD brand made for women. On the day, guests will learn how to have better intimacy and sleep with evidence-based tips, as well as how you can incorporate CBD into your nighttime routine to help wind down from the day.

Healthy Habits & Lifestyle Management Talk by Coastal Fitness
When: October 7, 7pm to 8:30pm
Where: The Hive Sheung Wan
Hosted by CrossFit gym, Coastal Fitness, coaches Liam Carmichael and Patrick James will be giving a talk on healthy habits and lifestyle management at The Hive Sheung Wan. For those of you who have trouble dealing with stress and managing work-life balance, this free talk will be able to help sort you out.
Lights Out Pop-Up In Quarry Bay
When: October 12 to 30
Where: ArtisTree, Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay
Sheung Wan’s boutique boxing studio, Lights Out, will be popping up in Tai Koo Place in October, offering 30-minute taster classes as well as 50-minute Classic classes of your favourite boxing workout. Expect pumping music, high-intensity weight-incorporated supersets, and of course, plenty of boxing.
Yoga Breakfast Club by Kerry Hotel
When: Selected dates in October
Where: Kerry Hotel Kowloon
Begin your morning with a yoga session, followed by a healthy breakfast at Kerry Hotel at the hotel’s Yoga Breakfast Club which takes place on weekends throughout October. The one-hour yoga session will be led by teachers Tavia and Karina, leading you through a mindful yoga flow to kickstart your morning.
‘More Than A Label: This is Our Story’ Exhibition by Mind Hong Kong
When: October 15 to 19
Where: The Wild Lot Shop B, G/F 6-10 Shin Hing Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong
To help destigmatise mental illness, Mind Hong Kong will be launching an exhibition titled ‘More Than A Label: This is Our Story’ at Sheung Wan’s The Wild Lot for four days. Featuring over 30 personal stories of mental health recovery journeys, the exhibition will show how mental illness labels are simply just labels.
