Marrying Swiss precision with Italian design, these stunning watches from Bulgari showcase the wonders of horological sound
A keen ear hears it in the familiar ticking of hands, the pulsating mechanism and the subtle hum of turning gears within. This proves that musicality is intrinsic to watchmaking, that there exists an obscure yet distinctive cadence in each timepiece, reflecting its high-quality craftsmanship. Evident in the rhythms of its latest watch novelties, Bulgari showcases its virtuosity in horological art, pushing its boundaries beyond the imaginable.

The new Octo Roma timepieces signal their arrival with a classical chime. Bulgari adds harmonic complexity to the comprehensive range with tritone intervals, created in collaboration with Swiss-Italian conductor Lorenzo Viotti. Its unprecedented dissonance lends each acoustic watch a unique tonal quality, such as the rich notes and crystalline clarity that emanate from the Octo Roma Carillon Tourbillon. Equipped with the modified BVL428 calibre carillon and an innovative open-worked dial, this model features two extremely complex and coveted mechanisms: the tourbillon and the minute repeater with three hammers.

Another collaboration serves as the cornerstone of Bulgari’s new, limited-edition novelty; for this, it’s with the world’s leading guitar manufacturer and a timeless music legend. The sporty-chic Bvlgari Aluminium GMT riffs with Fender’s iconic Stratocaster, capturing the original guitar’s livery with a sunburst finish and creamy white hue. Only 1200 pieces of this suave timepiece have been made, with 140 exclusive anniversary sets comprising a bespoke case and a book on the 70-year history of the Stratocaster.

Finally, no conversation surrounding Bulgari’s masterpieces is complete without the illustrious Serpenti. A sensuous embodiment of time’s fluidity, the Serpenti Pallini gets animated by the Piccolissimo calibre, one of the industry’s smallest round mechanical movements. This innovative mechanism transforms the timepiece into a versatile jewel. Its interchangeable and reversible calibre adapts to the diamond-set dial, allowing the serpentine bracelet to gracefully adorn either wrist.

Bulgari ascertains that the art of watchmaking is as much about sound and engineering as it is about sight and visual pomp. These distinctive novelties are prepared to take ardent enthusiasts on a journey through time that is second to none, adding an extra layer of appreciation for these exquisite instruments of time.
