Industrial designer Tej Chauhan’s headline-making collaboration with Rado culminated in a meet-and-greet in Malaysia
Throughout July, Tatler GMT partnered with The Exchange TRX to celebrate the art of horology, including a series of watchmaking masterclasses at the mall’s Premium Lounge. The initiative also saw collaborations with several of the mall’s watch tenants, offering esteemed guests an exclusive first look at their novelties.

Rado, in collaboration with Tatler GMT, hosted an intimate evening to celebrate its creative partnership with award-winning industrial designer Tej Chauhan. Held in The Exchange TRX’s Premium Lounge, the event welcomed watch enthusiasts and design lovers alike for a night of conversation, creativity, and horology. During the fireside chat, Chauhan shared insights into his design philosophy and the Rado collaboration, especially how he reimagined the Swiss brand’s iconic forms through his distinctive lens.

Guests were also treated to an up-close look at the Rado x Tej Chauhan timepieces—the latest DiaStar Original x Tej Chauhan Special Edition with Ceramos bezel, and the True Square ceramic watch in yellow with a black dial. Chauhan engaged directly with attendees, answering their questions and signing autographs. As the evening drew to a close, it became evident that Chauhan’s contribution only reinforced Rado’s reputation for challenging design boundaries.
