Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection offers the most extraordinary jewels designed to shine at grand fetes such as the Tatler Ball

With only about a month to go before the upcoming Tatler Ball, it’s crunch time for our esteemed guests to decide on how to make a sartorial mark at the social event of the year. After all, the theme of this year’s ball is Make Your Mark—so expect the Ball to be bigger and better than ever.

There are many ways to honour the theme and leave that desired impact but one thing’s for sure—it is about showing who you are and leaving your unique mark, not that of anyone else. To make your mark in the most precious, show-stopping way, look to Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection of high jewellery, which is unveiled annually at the most prestigious film festival, the Cannes Film Festival. This year, the collection is inspired by the seven contemporary arts of architecture, sculpture, painting, music, literature, dance and cinema.

Not only are these one-of-a-kind creations designed to wow on the red carpet as the collection’s name suggests, they also come in a diverse range of art-inspired forms and styles from the subtle and figurative to the more literal. Below, we pick out some of our favourite statement-making creations from Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection.

A masterpiece that will surely turn heads on the red carpet, this necklace pays homage to literature and the power of the written word with five dazzling diamond feathers, each with a blue pear-shaped sapphire on its end and calling to mind the drop of ink on the tip of a feather quill. These feathers seem to rest softly on the collar, which is set with a gradient of blue sapphires. Three of these diamond quills can also be detached from the collar to be worn as a pair of earrings and a matching brooch.
