For fall/winter 2023, the Italian fashion brand looked to its triangle logo to create its standout handbags
Prada has the uncanny ability to turn just about anything into a must-have for fashion fans. So far, that has included lug-soled boots, nylon bags and bucket hats. We will soon add triangle handbags to that list, according to the Italian brand’s fall/winter 2023 runway show at Milan Fashion Week.
Attended by guests like Dua Lipa, Bling Empire’s Tina Leung and Korean actor Song Kang, Prada’s latest fashion show was an ode to minimalism, very much like its men’s show in January. The collection, designed by co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, offered clothes that are modern, pared-back and very wearable. That includes Prada signatures like full skirts, A-line coats, slouchy sweaters, and sharp tailoring.
The minimalist mood of Prada’s collection also left little room for accessories—with the exception of sleek, triangle-shaped handbags.
