Here’s why we think the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is a style icon in the making
If we were to look up to a seven-year-old for some chic street fashion inspiration, it would be North West. She has created a style made up of details drawn from both parents Ye and Kim Kardashian—the right blend of glam and hip hop.
Although West does not have her own social media account, we get a glimpse of her enviable style through her mum's profile.
See why West has been turning heads with these memorable looks:
West, who was wearing a vintage number from dad Ye, was spotted shopping in Paris alongside her stylish mum Kardashian. The blue bomber jacket, which was listed at an auction for US$10,000 is from Ye's former streetwear brand, Noughties Pastelle. She paired the jacket with her Crocs x Balenciaga platforms while carrying a Balenciaga bag.
Aside from her edgy streetwear moments, we absolutely love it when the young West got glammed up by Kardashian's go-to makeup artists, Chris McMillan and Ariel Tejad, while wearing fuzzy co-ords from Skims.
Ode to the OG
West went to the Jean Paul Gaultier couture show with her mum while wearing a button-down shirt with a black tie under a pinstripe vest and skirt teamed with mid-length black boots and a paper boy hat. The mother-daughter duo both had matching nose rings that paid tribute to the iconic moment in 1992 during Gaultier's AIDS fundraising event with Madonna.
When in Paris
While visiting the Louvre with her family by private tour, West posed for the cameras while wearing a baggy jacket, black tee, and denim pants paired with her go-to Crocs x Balenciaga platforms.
Colour Me Happy
The seven-year-old still plays around with bright colours as a child would as seen in Kardashian's Instagram profile. She wore an orange co-ord set comprising of a button-up shirt and pants underneath a fur purple jacket.
Shining Like a Star
We love how West changed things up a bit on her first day at Paris Couture Week 2022 by wearing a bedazzled black denim jacket on top of a Balenciaga black tee, pants, and black sunglasses.
Gracing Virgil Abloh's final show was West, who was wearing a baggy ensemble consisting of covetable pieces. She matched a boxy Pyrex black tee and shorts with her staple footwear—Crocs x Balenciaga platform boots—then accessorised with a Louis Vuitton x Virgil Abloh Mini Soft Trunk Monogram bag and some shades.
