Gucci has chosen not one but two of the biggest Korean stars today as its newest global brand ambassadors: Hometown Cha Cha Cha actress Shin Min-a and Squid Game actor Lee Jung-jae

The lead stars of two recently concluded Korean dramas have been appointed as Gucci’s newest global brand ambassadors. Hometown Cha Cha Cha actress, Shin Min-a and Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae cross paths as the fashion house’s brand ambassadors.

Acknowledged as a fashion icon in her own right, model-turned-actress Shin Min-a has always had her own refined sense of style. The passion for her work, along with her distinctive yet encompassing style speak to Gucci’s values of inclusivity and self-expression.

Dubbed as one of South Korea’s reigning rom-com queens, Shin has once again showcased her acting ability in Hometown Cha Cha Cha and will be gracing our screens again in the star-studded drama, Our Blues.

Meanwhile, Lee—one of the most sought after actors of his generation—has always delivered a top-notch performance in movies and TV series including Netflix’s biggest show to date, Squid Game.

His talent and own personal and well-defined take on fashion are in sync with Gucci’s values of inclusivity and self-expression. With Squid Game confirmed for a second season, Lee is set to appear before we even know it. He will be also making his debut as a director in the upcoming movie, Hunt.

The two new ambassadors will be showcasing the aesthetic of creative director, Alessandro Michele in future campaigns and appearances.
