The Korean celebrities turned heads on the streets of Paris with their dramatic, all-black outfits
At Paris Fashion Week, Dior showcased a stunning tribute to Catherine de’ Medici, the former Queen of France. But there was another form of royalty present at the fashion show: K-pop superstars Jisoo of Blackpink and Cha Eun-woo.
The South Korean celebrities caused plenty of buzz as they arrived to the Tuileries Garden, where they had front row seats to see Dior’s spring/summer 2023 fashion show. But it wasn’t just their star power that put them in the spotlight; both were dressed in their finest Parisian ensembles to suit Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri’s concept of a “Baroque ball” within the gardens.

In the case of Jisoo, who was named global ambassador for Dior last year, that meant a classic little black dress (or LBD) paired with sparkling black bow-embellished pumps.
The Blackpink singer also wore black fishnet tights that lent an edge to her ladylike outfit—and had her mirroring the looks that came down the runway. She topped off her romantic outfit by trading her Lady D-Joy bag for a Mini Lady D-Lite embroidered in an ornate black and white pattern. She looked fit for a ball, indeed.

Cha Eun-woo similarly cut a dashing figure. The True Beauty actor was styled in all black, sporting a cosy knit polo, wide-leg pants and chunky-soled dress shoes.
But it was his patent leather coat, elaborately quilted with Dior’s cannage motif from the Lady Dior bag, that elevated his look and emphasised his towering stature. The Dior Beauty ambassador certainly looked more than qualified to play a duke in his upcoming Korean drama, The Villainess Is A Marionette.
Being as impeccably dressed as they were, both Jisoo and Cha held their own amidst Dior’s star-studded front row, which also included celebrity guests such as Rosamund Pike, Shailene Woodley and Alexandra Daddario. The two also looked right at home on the stylish streets of Paris, which they’ll hopefully grace during the next Fashion Week season.
