In the presence of friends and family and surrounded by a sea of flowers by Singapore-based florist Fiore Dorato, YTL Corporation’s scion Yeoh Pei Teeng wed Christopher Lim in a dazzling ceremony

With its vibrant city life and elegant mix of heritage and modernity, Kuala Lumpur is the perfect backdrop for some of the grandest weddings in Asia, especially when the bride is none other than the Director of YTL Land & Development, Yeoh Pei Teeng.

It was a dreamy afternoon to remember when Yeoh wed her fiancé, Christopher Lim, who works in the finance and wealth management industry.

The duo tied the knot in a gorgeous afternoon ceremony that was held at the Sentul Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.

The wedding itself took place in a towering, light-filled glasshouse that was custom built by the bride’s father, Dato' Victor Yeoh Seok Kian, who is currently the managing director of YTL Corporation and Yeoh herself.

The bride wore a gorgeous gown designed by Elie Saab, a Lebanese designer who specialises in luxury bridal gowns and the latest ready-to-wear fashion designer clothing. She changed into a Custom Lee Petra Grebenau gown later on.

The groom on the other hand wore a dapper made-to-measure Tom Ford suit and later changed into a white Tom Ford tuxedo.

The space was tastefully decorated and took advantage of the floor-to-ceiling glass windows that let in ample light. The couple went with a classy and modern theme that relied heavily upon floral decorations and setups by Singapore-based floral boutique Fiore Dorato.

“Yeoh really likes different tones in the pink palette and she loves peonies while Lim preferred hydrangeas. So we worked with the couple to refine their vision and create a dream set-up for them,” said Brenda Lee, the founder of Fiore Dorato.

She added that the Fiore Dorato team were flown into Kuala Lumpur for the set-up and that it took them six days to prepare and set up the place. “Thankfully the family owns the space so we had ample time to do the set-up. Plus we worked with amazing vendors in Kuala Lumpur itself.”
