The pop princess tied the knot with a star-studded guest list. Her parents and sister, Jamie-Lynn, were not invited
Britney Spears and her long-time beau Sam Asghari’s big day finally arrived on June 9 (Thursday) after nearly six years together. Asghari, 28, is a personal trainer and actor who met Spears on the set of her Slumber Party music video in 2016. The couple has been together ever since. Spears announced their engagement back in September 2021 and took to Instagram to share her round brilliant-cut diamond solitaire personally designed by Asghari.

The two lovebirds held an intimate ceremony at her Los Angeles home attended by A-list celebrities including Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, and Donatella Versace. Her parents and younger sister, Jamie Lynn, were reportedly not invited. Her older brother, Bryan, was supposedly the only family member in attendance.
The wedding comes after her release from her controversial 13-year conservatorship, which her parents played a large part in, back in November 2021.
Unfortunately, her wedding day was off to a dramatic start when troubled ex-husband Jason Alexander attempted to crash her ceremony while streaming himself on Instagram live. He had first approached security and demanded to be let into Spears’ residence saying that the star had invited him. Before a physical altercation between him and security, he was reportedly heard screaming "Don't put your hands on me," and demanding, "Where's Britney?" in the Instagram live. He was later apprehended by police after he managed to get access to her home and was arrested and booked for trespassing, vandalism and battery.
On a lighter note, Asgahri wrote on his Instagram story before the wedding to wish his new bride a happy Mother’s Day, writing: “Our lives have been a real life fairytale. Happy Mother’s Day to you my soon-to-be queen," alongside a photo of the pop star flashing her engagement ring.
On the same day, Spears took to Instagram and posted a photo of her veil, which was comfortably sat on by her cat, Wendy.
Spears had earlier revealed on Instagram that her wedding dress would be designed by Versace. Initially hinting at a wedding dress after fans spotted her wearing a pastel pink tulle ballgown in a now-deleted Instagram post, Spears cleared up the rumours by writing: “Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak.” Congratulations to the happy couple!
