Cover An exclusive afternoon discovering Dior Beauty’s most luxurious creations

Tatler Singapore and Dior Beauty hosted a by-invite-only event to unveil the brand’s most luxurious creations: Prestige Le Micro‐Sérum de Rose Yeux Activated eye serum and the new Rose Star eau de parfum

Framed by sweeping floor-to-ceiling views 70 floors above the city, the air hummed with quiet excitement. Last Sunday afternoon, Tatler Singapore and Dior Beauty gathered a select group of beauty lovers at Skai Bar for an exclusive, by-invite-only event. The occasion? To celebrate the maison’s dedication to artistry, innovation, and savoir-faire, and to also delve deeper into its best-selling creations from the Dior Prestige line.

The afternoon was crafted thoughtfully, with a curated programme that included product education, a delicious three-course lunch, and a fun activity to boot. The elegant Skai Bar was transformed into a beautiful, light-filled space, complete with product displays, a special photo wall, and a private dining area for our guests.

Tatler’s senior digital and branded content editor Andrea Saadan was on hand to welcome guests to the exclusive event, offering an introduction to what the programmed entailed. She then introduced Jacqueline Lee, Dior Beauty’s training manager, who delved into the legacy of Monsieur Christian Dior and the maison. She spoke of Monsieur Dior’s superstitious nature and his enduring fondness for symbols such as the star and the rose. These emblems that continue to inspire the house’s creations today, most notably, the Rose Star—the latest olfactory addition to La Collection Privée.

The programme then unfolded into a series of live demonstrations: first, a skincare ritual featuring Dior Prestige’s new Le Micro-Sérum de Rose Yeux Advanced. A Dior Beauty expert demonstrated the product a model to showcase the many ways it can be used on the face, and its rejuvenating effect on the facial contours. This was followed by a makeup demonstration by Chew Toon Han, Dior International Backstage pro, who introduced techniques using the Le Micro-Fluide Teint de Rose Activated Foundation to create a luminous, rose-petal finish.

After that illuminating masterclass, our guests were treated to a sumptuous three-course lunch prepared by Skai Bar. On the menu: poached lobster bisque, miso black cod or corn-fed chicken with roasted vegetables, and the highlight: a beautiful lychee pink rose confection inspired Dior’s emblematic Rose de Granville. The convivial atmosphere was heightened by a creative activity: vase painting, where each guest decorated their own rose-printed keepsake to take home.

The event concluded with one-on-one consultations and discovery moments at product displays, including the maison’s full line-up of eau de parfums. Every guest departed with their own personalised vase (filled with fresh blooms in a nod to the house’s deep connection to flowers) and a renewed appreciation for Dior Beauty’s pursuit of excellence—carrying a touch of the rose-inspired magic into their own daily rituals.
