Edwin Pun launches The Morning After

Tatler community member, Edwin Pun, an entrepreneur as famous for his good looks as he is for his property development prowess has now entered a new line of business: granola.

The Morning After, is a passion project designed to elevate everyday indulgence. Pun says the goal is to transform granola from a mundane breakfast item into a versatile treat that can be enjoyed at any time.

The brand offers three distinct flavours: maple cranberry, dark chocolate and matcha, making it suitable for breakfast, a snack or even as a dessert. “My granola is all about indulgence and enjoying sinful snacks. It’s not the typical healthy breakfast staple, but rather a fun, eat-it-whenever-you-like kind of snack,” he says.

Hong Kong will host Asia’s first Global Summit on Women’s Health this June, marking a pivotal moment for healthcare innovation in the region. Founded by Anca Griffiths and Maaike Steinebach, the two-day event, taking place at the Asia Society Hong Kong Centre on June 16-17, promises to reshape the landscape of women’s healthcare through cutting-edge research and technology.

Organised by Femtech Future, OM Health Hub and Asia Society Hong Kong Center, the summit arrives at a critical juncture when women’s health issues are getting long-overdue recognition in medical research and investment circles.

The gathering will bring together 300 influential figures from healthcare, technology, investment, insurance and media sectors. This carefully curated audience reflects the summit’s ambition to drive substantive change rather than merely discussing it.

Attendees will gain exclusive insights into medical breakthrough specifically addressing women’s health concerns, from early diagnostics to longevity solutions. The summit will also examine how AI is transforming healthcare delivery and explore the latest investment trends in femtech—a sector projected to reach $75 billion by 2025. The event aims to accelerate action and will also include a femtech fair, with an opportunity for investors and corporations to connect with over 30 femtech startups in the region.

Particularly noteworthy is the focus on women’s brain and heart health, areas historically underrepresented in medical research despite significant physiological differences between sexes affecting disease presentation and treatment efficacy.

The event also tackles practical implementation, with discussions on workplace policies that support women’s health across various life stages—from reproductive years to menopause and beyond.

By positioning Hong Kong as the nexus for this global conversation, the summit aims to catalyse regional investment in women’s health innovations while connecting Asian healthcare challenges with global solutions.

Speakers at the summit will include Vera Lui; Ava Kwong and Lindsay Jang with keynote speeches by Alyson McGregor, sex and gender health expert, as well as Marjorie Jenkins, a leader in women’s health, medical education and health policy.
