Their pizzas are notorious for being able to feed a small army, with its mutton masala pizza being a highlight. A selection of cocktails is available here alongside signature creations inspired by all things tropical.

Upon opening, Shimokita Space achieved the pinnacle of culinary success—going viral on TikTok. Operating primarily as a curated thrift store, its in-house café proves unassuming but is not to be missed. Its food menu consists of a small selection of Japanese-inspired fare, with its beef smash burgers being a crowd-favourite.
Thin, juicy patties stacked between burger buns and smothered in house-made sauce, cheese, pickles, and caramelised onions solidify the semi-eatery’s claim to internet virality. Another beloved menu item is its Bata Biru—the spot’s version of butter beer.

Restaurant Kar Heong is indispensable to Subang’s dining scene, offering true to form chicken rice and local fare. Its roast chicken is the epitome of the dish—crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
The restaurant is often packed with diners in search of down-to-earth, comforting meals, and this SS14 eatery consistently delivers. Other familiar accompaniments include crisp roast pork, char siew, and poached chicken.
Extraordinarily smokey, decadently umami, and topped with a perfectly runny egg: everything a plate of fried rice should be. Uncle Soon Fried Rice delivers just that. Wok-hei fried rice paired with robust sambal belacan is the eatery’s speciality, securing a place in the hearts of many Subang residents.
Its most popularly ordered dish is char siu and prawn fried rice, but this writer recommends serving char siu fried rice in sambal belacan.
Joining SS15’s enclave of roadside stalls is Sausage Sizzle, an authority when it comes to hot dogs. Sausages are unlike the familiar processed variety sandwiched between most hot dog buns, but are instead supplied by Beard Brothers. Each hot dog features only the highest quality proteins, dressed in equally excellent toppings.
Nestled on the colloquially named ‘bak kut teh street’ of SS14, Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh is a must-visit when in the area. The neighbourhood eatery serves both dry and soupy versions of the dish, specialising in a lighter broth. A crowd-favourite among Subang residents for a reason, expect generous portions of meat accompanied by its signature oil rice.

Sumi-Ka has been a Subang mainstay for over a decade, and deservedly so. Relatively hidden, locating the restaurant proves slightly tedious—think of it as a treasure hunt finished with a yakitori reward.
Its menu is a showcase of skewers, turning offcuts and innards into artfully grilled yakitori. Find pork soft bone coated in ponzu, chicken breast with wasabi, and miso pork belly. The eatery is also equipped with a selection of spirits from umeshu to sake.
Handmade pasta, farm-to-table eggs, and locally sourced fruits—food cooked with sincerity is the beating heart of this restaurant. Three Plates Full has become a favourite in Subang, adding to the suburb’s long list of excellent dining venues. Comforting, soulful meals crafted with wholesome ingredients are the eatery’s specialities.
Even its small plates selection is incredibly hearty, comprising of truffle tater tots, popcorn pork bites, and twice roasted baby potatoes. Its more substantial offerings are protein-forward, with Iberico pork ribs braised in a dark rum and cola marinade until tender being a crowd-favourite.
