In conjunction with Mother's Day 2023, Volvo Car Malaysia and Tatler brought a group of mothers to an exclusive retreat at A Little Farm on the Hill.
Knowing that women are usually the primary caregivers who don't get much of a break, Volvo Car Malaysia treated a group of lovely mothers to a quick sojourn away from the city.
That morning, the ladies convened at the brand's office in PJ, to be chauffeured in a fleet of Volvo cars all the way up to A Little Farm on the Hill, in Janda Baik, Pahang. Among the vehicles the mothers got to ride in comfort in were the fully electric C40 and XC40 SUVs, as well as hybrid models like the XC90 and XC60, plus the dashing S90 sedan.

Upon arrival the women took time to appreciate the scenic surroundings and fresh air at the location, as they caught up with friends and got to know one another. A host of activities were already planned for the ladies, which included flower bouquet arrangements, a guided meditation, bracelet making and a flower reading session.
Tatler Malaysia's managing director, Geraldine Beh first greeted guests before handing the microphone over to Patricia Yaw, head of marketing operations and PR from Volvo Car Malaysia to thank the mothers for the roles they play within their family and society as a whole. Then a guided meditation session had guests delve deep into themselves, to appreciate motherhood—both the joys and difficulties of it.
Food was served next, and as the sharing portions were dished out, the ladies also shared light moments and stories among themselves. In between, courses, the mothers took turns to take part in the activities. While some visited the booth to make their own beaded bracelet from WTF Bracelets, others were busy picking flowers for their personal bouquet done by Stun Spore Flower Store. There was also a long waitlist to join the flower reading session, where Ann Naomi Wong from Soleil would tell you about your personality based on the flowers you selected.
Before being chauffeured back, with their Volvo goodie bags, the women cherished their surroundings once again, and walked around the scenic farm area, taking pictures and just chit-chatting.
