Having grown up with a Volvo, Alexandra Cheah recalls the positive memories surrounding the brand as she experiences the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric

Growing up, Alexandra Cheah (commonly referred to as Alex) delightfully remembers her family car at the time—an older Volvo XC90 SUV model. She has many fond memories with it, as it was essentially the first vehicle she has ever been in.

"I can't pick just one favourite moment in that Volvo. We used to do so much, from blasting music and singing along during drives, which also included my dog in the car, to taking photos and videos of me pretending to drive, or just long road trips," reveals Cheah.

Her mother shares that the SUV was part of their family from the time Cheah was born, it even housed her baby seat, till the family sold it when she was eight-years-old. "I was young but I can still remember it [the Volvo] to this day, my mum even has photos because I insisted on having a photo shoot with the car the day it was sold," she recalls.

Electric for the day.

Cheah, 17, expresses that she'd like to own a Volvo one day, as she believes that the Swedish brand stands for safety and reliability. "I mostly remember feeling safe, whenever we drove around as a family, whether it was to my late grandfather's house which he built by the beach in Dungun, or just random drives with my mum and sister around the neighbourhood," shares the aspiring actress.

"I feel that Volvo's interior is comforting and homey that to its spaciousness," adds Cheah.
