Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights returns for its 13th edition with more haunted houses, scare zones and immersive experiences
Universal Studios Singapore is raising the bar for fright with the return of Halloween Horror Nights (HHN).
Running for 18 nights from September 26 to November 1, HHN’s 13th edition promises to deliver even more spine-chilling thrills and terrifying experiences—if you thought previous years were scary, this year’s HHN is set to take the fear factor to a whole new level.
This year’s event sees all-new haunted houses, including one with a returning theme inspired by none other than Netflix’s wildly popular original series, Stranger Things. This haunted house will come teeming with characters and monsters from the beloved show’s alternate dimension, Upside Down. Walk through the haunted house and relive the show’s most intense moments from the halls of Hawkins National Laboratory to Vecna’s blood-red mind lair.

“Stranger Things has been one of the most enduring horror series of our time and with the show drawing to an end, we wanted to give fans the opportunity to relive all the best moments right here at Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights,” shares senior director of entertainment at Resorts World Sentosa, Markham Gannon. The hit series’ fifth and final season is set to premiere on Netflix on November 27.
The latest haunted house marks the event’s fourth collaboration with the popular streaming service. Previous partnerships have brought to life haunted houses inspired by Korean hit dramas, including Sweet Home and All of Us Are Dead.
“We have had such success working with Netflix on our haunted houses and this is gearing up to be our most exciting edition of the event yet,” Gannon continues.

There’s plenty to look forward to beyond the Stranger Things haunted house. For one, the locally-inspired haunted house ‘Singapore’s Most Haunted’ returns for its second edition with ‘Singapore’s Most Haunted: Build to Horror’. Here, the “Demonic Sinseh” possesses the innocent through his dark ritual, turning the neighbourhood into a living hell.
Creatures and demons from ancient Japanese folklore emerge along the scare zone titled ‘The Realm of Yokai’. Inspired by the Japanese folklore Hyakki Yagyō (also known as the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons), escape vengeful demons in this scare zone. Keep your ears open for the 13 thunderous chimes within the scare zone, as each chime sees the arrival of a new wave of spirits.

At The Fearground scare zone, face chaotic carnies and survive deadly attractions. Once an amusement park, the grounds are now overgrown with deadly monsters. Don’t get caught by the ringleader The Death Devil, who’s looking for contestants for his twisted game show ‘Dare or Die Live!’.
In addition, guests can look forward to new live shows such as Once Upon a Time…to Die. The show follows Mr Rabid, who’s desperate to prolong his life by stealing life-altering items from innocent fairytale legends.
