Universal Studios Singapore has unveiled a vibrant new addition to its theme park landscape: Minion Land. Set to open in 2025, the latest immersive attraction is inspired by Illumination’s beloved Despicable Me and Minions franchise.
This expansion is a collaborative effort between Universal Creative, Illumination’s filmmakers and Resorts World Sentosa. As the first Minion Land in Southeast Asia, this addition to Universal Studios Singapore is poised to become a must-visit destination for fans of the franchise and theme park enthusiasts.

Serving as a colourful shopping hub, Minion Marketplace is the one-stop location for all things Minions. Here, find a range of stores such as Sweet Surrender, a candy-themed store featuring a giant jawbreaker vending machine that offers a diverse selection of Minion-themed apparel, plush toys and other merchandise.
Next to the vibrant marketplace, Gru’s Neighbourhood brings the supervillains home to life, complete with his underground lab and his loyal horde of Minions, who can be found taking over the streets. Anticipate popular attractions like the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, an immersive motion simulator ride that takes you through Gru’s evil laboratory.

Super Silly Fun Land brings Despicable Me’s seaside carnival to life. Here, enjoy fun rides and games like the Space Killer, modelled after the movie’s Super Silly Space Killer arcade game; and the first-ever Minion dance party-themed carousel Buggie Boogie. There are plenty of prizes to win too, including Agnes’ plush unicorn Fluffy.
There are plenty of dining experiences to try when you’re feeling peckish. The Super Hungry Food Stand is an expansion of the waterfront snack bar from the films, while Pop-A-Nana is a kiosk offering Minion-inspired flavoured popcorn.
With its exciting line-up of attractions, retail and dining, the upcoming Minion Land is sure to be bananas.
