Get ready as Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights is back and is amping up the scare factor with its latest haunted houses, immersive experiences and scare zones
Universal Studios Singapore (USS) is raising the stakes for Halloween thrills once again.
Back for its 12th edition, this year’s Halloween Horror Nights (HHN12) will span 18 event nights on select dates from September 27 to November 2. Themed Dark Dreams, this year’s HHN12 will transport guests to a different world, blurring the lines between imagination and reality with four all-new immersive haunted houses, three scare zones and three shows.
Here’s what you can expect at the upcoming scream fest.

Live Shows
Look out for three nightmarish shows that will be performed throughout the night. The annual Halloween Horror Nights show Dark Dreams tells the story of the Dream Reaper that feeds off nightmares of innocent people while Ocu.lar’s Rave allows you to dance to hypnotic music alongside the undead. Night Terrors is the event’s newest projection mapping show, transforming a fortress into a haunted haven. Each show boasts elaborate sets and a spectacle of lights, sound effects and more.
Speakeasy
This year’s HHN12 features a new immersive speakeasy bar Viper Lounge that’s hidden in plain sight. Owned by vampiric clan The Elders, get to indulge in a range of canapés and drinks. Sit back with cocktails and watch as trouble unfolds all around you.
Scare Zones
Don’t let your guard down as you explore the area as terror lurks at every corner—especially at its three sinister scare zones. Vengeful spirits roam around The Lost Kampung while vampires lurk in the shadows at Vampire Alley. At Nether-Land, rave with the undead while fuelling your night with concoctions from the Tiger Twisted Bar.
Haunted Houses
Three out of four of the haunted houses have been unveiled. Be prepared to scream at Singapore’s Most Haunted: The Killings, a recreation of one of Singapore’s most haunted houses. Step past the eerie stone lions and find restless spirits roaming the house, hoping to find its next victim.
Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness is a new three-dimensional experience filled with scares. Here, you’ll meet The Schoolmaster, a possessed Qing Dynasty scholar who has conjured up evil spirits and entities with the help of ancient scrolls.
The annual scare-fest also boasts a chilling collaboration with the global Netflix hit Sweet Home. Its third collaboration with streaming service giant, this iconic scare-fest in Singapore will recreate the Korean horror series’ terrifying apocalyptic world.
Fans of the K-drama can prepare to be plunged headfirst into the show’s nightmarish world with its upcoming haunted house. Here, you’ll come face-to-face with the show’s grotesque ‘monsters’ from the show’s first two seasons.
“Every haunted house experience is our creative spin on the source material while staying true to its essence—and Sweet Home is no exception. Korean horror is something that resonates well with our fans and we can’t wait to take Halloween Horror Nights to new, frightful heights,” director of entertainment at Resorts World Sentosa Markham Gannon shares.
Echoing Gannon’s enthusiasm, Netflix’s head of experiences Greg Lombardo shares how the latest haunted house will transport viewers to a world of chaos and terror.
“Fans love losing themselves in the worlds they watch across the small screen, and now, they will literally be able to step into the chilling scenes and confront terrifying monsters inspired by the series,” he continues.
