From superhero stories to hopeful medical dramas, there’s something for every fan of Korean dramas in the new year
The world can’t seem to get enough of K-dramas, and their popularity had already been on the rise steadily by the time they skyrocketed astronomically with the phenomenal success of Crash Landing On You (2019) and Squid Game (2021), just to name two. Not one to rest on its laurels, the K-drama industry kept the momentum going in 2022, delivering engrossing content in a plethora of genres—from office rom-coms like Business Proposal (2022) to zombie horror show All of Us Are Dead (2022).
It seems the world can’t get enough, so here is our list of the most highly anticipated K-dramas to watch in 2023.

1. ‘Behind Your Touch’
The latest Korean rom-com series stars The Beauty Inside’s Lee Min-ki and Ressurection’s Han Ji-min. In the series, Han plays Bong Ye-bun, a vet with a superpower—she is able to see into the past of those who she touches. She teams up with detective Moon Jang-yeol (played by Lee) as they solve cases together.
