This year has been a big one for Hong Kong films—Table for Six, Warriors of Future and The Sparring Partners are just some of the highlights of 2022. One hit film after another has given a much-needed boost to the local film industry that had been going through a lacklustre time, especially with the cinemas being closed for more than 100 days during the first half of the year due to the pandemic restrictions. But now things are looking up—and even in the last month of the year there are still plenty of exciting movies out in cinemas you can watch to celebrate Christmas and the beginning of a new year. Not to mention all the festive films coming up, what with Lunar New Year just around the corner.

Here are some films currently still in cinemas and others that will be coming soon to put on your To-Watch list.
