Hosted by Sparkle star Martin Javier, the morning was more than just a simple contract signing. As a fashion icon, TV star, and president of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc (SPFI), Evangelista proudly waived the network’s banner as she optimistically looks forward to future projects. Evangelista grew emotional as a few of her closest friends and colleagues shared heartfelt messages congratulating her next big step. “Continue doing what you always do. Spread your love, spread your heart, because that’s what we all adore,” says Kenneth Goh, editor-in-chief at Harper’s Bazaar Singapore.
“I am so proud of you! You inspire us all just by how hard you work, how you pave your own way and becoming the queen that you are by just being you,” says Bea Alonzo.
Filled with gratitude, Evangelista happily acknowledged everyone who has helped her become who she is today. From the GMA executives who have been with her since day one to the camera crew and production staff who make everything possible, she never forgot a name.

As for what’s next, she wishes to play roles that define her as a person. “When I started, I was playing roles that weren’t really me. But the moment that I started to embrace myself and GMA started to support me, I’m confident that I’ll be doing what I really want in the future,” shares Evangelista. Something fans can look forward to is a project that she’ll be doing for the first time with GMA and larger-scale projects. “We’ll be working on certain scripts for bigger pictures,” she adds excitedly.

Ever a beacon of inspiration for millions, Evangelista frequently gets invited to international fashion weeks and has starred in multiple television series and movies—with her latest comeback being the upcoming film, Infamous 6 where she’ll be playing Mei. However, she believes that she hasn’t reached her peak and has plenty of room for improvement. “I’m not on legend mode yet. I feel like I have yet so much to give and prove for myself. I’m somebody who will always hold gratitude in my heart. I’m content but at the same time, I’m still very curious about what’s out there. I’d love to explore that whether or not it’ll give me anything in return,” Evangelista shares with Tatler.
