Poarch was born in the Philippines and was raised by her grandmother until she was adopted at 3 years old. The singer reveals that her childhood was traumatic as she and her adopted brother was abused by their adoptive parents. At 13, Poarch moved to the US.

A US Navy Veteran

In 2015, Poarch enlisted in the Navy. She served for four years and was stationed in Japan and Hawaii. She shares that her experience in the navy taught her that she couldn’t do everything on her own.
A TikTok Star
When Poarch joined TikTok in April 2020, she didn’t know she’d be a star. She has uploaded lip-sync videos on the app, one of which went viral. She has also collaborated with other internet stars including famous makeup artist James Charles and even rapper Tyga.

Holds Record for Most Likes on TikTok
Poarch still holds the record for having the most likes on TikTok, with over 60 million likes. The video shows the star lip-syncing "M to the B" by Millie B.
Cousins with Bretman Rock

The singer made an appearance in Bretman Rock’s YouTube video where the two made a tie-dye shirt. In the video, the makeup artist revealed that they're related. “We’re actually cousins, you guys. We met all the way back in Pangasinan where she’s from,” says the internet star.

In a quick interview with Billboard, the singer was asked which top concert she's attended. She immediately answered, "BTS". Poarch has also shared that her bias from the K-pop group is RM, whose real name is Kim Nam-joon.
Song Featured in a Movie Trailer
Recently, a new trailer for the upcoming movie Megan, stylised as M3GAN, was released. The trailer for the horror movie directed by Gerard Johnstone featured Poarch's song "Dolls" from her eponymous EP.
