8 Christmas markets and fairs to visit in Singapore this festive season

Head to Asia Square this weekend for The Floral Atelier’s largest Christmas market yet. The 2024 Christmas Atelier features over 80 homegrown brands, including Our Barehands, Rawbought and Tow Tow. New Bahru welcomes the festive season with its Merry Market. The first instalment of the lifestyle destination’s Extra Curious Activities (ECA), a series of themed design-led fairs, Merry Market is set to showcase over 30 emerging brands from food to home goods. Expect to find pieces from modern-day artisans such as homegrown bakery Kobashi and online brands such as e-bodega Avant Culture Club who will be operating a physical store for a limited time. Hands-on workshops will also be available throughout the weekend—craft a concoction with Morning’s Coffee Cocktail Workshop or create your own copper bowl with Baremetal.

Bring your little ones to Cluny Court for a Santa meet and greet session, happening every Thursday to Saturday leading up to Christmas. While no fee is required, donation boxes have been placed around the area, with all contributions going to Autism Resource Centre Singapore. Along with the photo-taking session, the annual Christmas fair will also host an exciting lineup of vendors ranging from jewellery to homeware.

One Holland Village’s Weekend Christmas Market returns for its second edition. Every Friday to Sunday leading up to Christmas, anticipate a curated line-up of local and international brands. Get a gift for your pooch too as the market will also feature various pet brands each week including Wholesome Paws, Barkaberry and Woofalicious. When you’re tired of exploring, grab a seat at the Beer Garden and enjoy a pint or two.

Lighting up The Promontory at Marina Bay is the inaugural World Christmas Market. The immersive festive experience offers a Christmas wonderland filled with unique market stalls, Santa’s workshop, Christmas performances and more. Bring your fur kids along and head to the Fur Friends Bazaar within the market for fun shows and activities that will keep both you and your pooch entertained.

If you’ve still not found the perfect gift, Public Garden’s Christmas fair will have you covered. Happening on December 21 and 22, the festive market brings independent brands across Asia together. This festive season, The Daily Glow unveils its inaugural Upmarket Edition, an event that brings together a curated selection of bespoke gifts by local and international artisans. Guests will also get to savour festive treats curated by the culinary team at The Singapore Edition.

Along with festive offerings, the brand also launches various activations each month, including a wellness activation in December. The upcoming event gets your body moving with a flow session guided by wellness experts before digging into a tantalising dinner.
