From giant playgrounds to immersive hands-on experiences, here’s what to expect at Singapore’s hottest new creative cluster
The Lo & Behold Group’s highly anticipated new lifestyle concept New Bahru has opened, transforming the former Nan Chiau High School into a vibrant multi-disciplinary space—former classrooms and halls now house local brands ranging from retail to arts and culture.
More than just a collection of shops, New Bahru is a meticulously curated space designed to foster innovation and collaboration across various disciplines.
On top of offering a host of dining, retail and education options, the space is also home to Alma House, an upcoming serviced apartment inspired by the former 1940s high school.
When it comes to food, dig into tantalising dishes from the various restaurants available including Artichoke and The Coconut Club. If you prefer to dine outside, head to The Lawn and enjoy your meal under the cool shade of rain trees. Little ones will also be kept entertained with the Oatside Funside Playground, Singapore’s tallest outdoor communal slide.
Whether you’re a discerning gourmand or seeking a unique retail experience, there’s something for everyone. If you’re one of the latter, here are some of the most exciting retail shops to keep your eye out for when visiting.
