Extend the joy of giving intentionally with these dedicated charities in Singapore
Christmas is considered the season of giving for many reasons; most of which date back to early cultural and religious practices of Christmas, including ancient Roman and Persian customs, where gifts would be exchanged during the winter solstice. Today, Christmas is celebrated with the same practice of exchanging gifts with our loved ones. But the season also presents a wonderful opportunity to remind others how valued and loved they are.
Charities provide dedicated resources to help the most vulnerable in society, establishing the importance of community and generosity. With the spirit of intentional giving, here are some charities you can support this Christmas–as they say, one small act of kindness goes a long way.
