As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close with the celebration of Hari Raya this week, our favourite brands have accordingly pulled out all the stops for their Raya 2024 creative campaigns, culminating in various cinematic video series that celebrate culture, family, tradition and Malaysian values surrounding the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

From Petronas’ Salam Dari Hati short film, which has garnered 2.8 million views, to Malaysia Airlines’ Buat Yang Cekal Berkhidmat clip and Mr DIY Malaysia’s tear-jerker video, Sama Sama Melangkah boasting nearly 7 million views so far, these and various other local corporations are finding new and creatives ways to tug at audiences’ heartstrings via beautifully crafted short films. Here are six such Raya 2024 films that caught our eye.

Petronas

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Petronas’ Hari Raya 2024 short film Salam from the Heart showcases the different shades of meaning associated with every salam at different stages of our lives, reminding us to appreciate each moment of forgiveness. 

RHB Malaysia

RHB Malaysia’s inspiring Hari Raya 2024 short film is based on true events revolving around the importance of forgiveness this festive season, letting go of past grievances and turning a new page.

Taylor’s University

Empathy, family and bonds forged through sacrifice—Taylor’s University touches on these values and more in this wonderfully executed Hari Raya 2024 video titled Suami Mithali.
