Slated for completion in late 2026, the development proposes a way of living shaped as much by its architecture as its remarkable context—one where the city remains close, the harbour is ever-changing, and home offers a sense of retreat at the heart of the CBD.
Designed by the late Kerry Hill AO, founder of Kerry Hill Architects, One Circular Quay reflects the architect’s enduring sensitivity to place. Across Asia, Hill’s body of work has encompassed acclaimed resorts and retreats, including The Datai Langkawi in Malaysia and Amanemu in Japan, alongside hospitality landmarks such as The Lalu at Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan and The Sukhothai Bangkok in Thailand.

At One Circular Quay, that approach takes on a distinctly urban expression. The fully glazed façade, with crystalline and honeyed sandstone tones, references the heritage stonework of Circular Quay, giving the contemporary structure a material connection to its historic context. Expansive winter gardens further soften the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing the harbour and sky to remain an ever present part of the architecture.
Meanwhile, the interiors, by designer Daniel Goldberg of State of Craft, take a similarly restrained approach. Rather than competing with the panorama beyond, the residences are conceived as calm, tactile and luminous spaces above the city.

Natural materials underpin the interiors, with a palette of raw, precious and refined finishes taking its cues from the surrounding cityscape. The shifting light of the sky, the reflective surface of the harbour and the gentle curves of the surrounding coves inform an interior language characterised by softness, tactility and restraint.
