Villa Gucci, built in the 1950s by the son of the fashion house’s founder, can be yours now for a discounted price

The Gucci family’s historic villa in Rome has had its asking price reduced to US$13.02 million.

The luxury property, which previously asked for US$15 million and then later US$14.2 million, was built in the 1950s by Aldo Gucci, the son of the fashion house’s founder, Guccio Gucci.

Featuring a mix of Tuscan and English architectural styles, Villa Gucci consists of a main house, which has eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms across almost 4,000 sq ft, a secondary residence, which takes up almost 3,000 sq ft (and is in need of renovation), a pool, garden and indoor garage, in addition to outdoor parking.

It is just a stone’s throw from the historic centre of Rome; the rooftop boasts views of the Altar of the Fatherland, the famed historical site.

Here, we take a look inside the home—and renderings that show what its modernisation could look like.
