Today, we're looking back on some of the chicest, most beautiful bedrooms we've come across on our world tour of inspiring homes.

1. Bangkok, Thailand

Located above the bustling metropolis of Bangkok, this penthouse at the St Regis hotel has all the elements for a dreamy abode; its interior is the work of Singapore-based firm Design Intervention. But what truly stands out is this spacious master bedroom. It features an awe-inspiring panorama of the city below, alongside lush furnishings that include wooden elements, soft carpeting, and a unique abstract pattern on the ceiling.

2. Doha, Qatar

Designed by Timothy Corrigan, this bedroom is one that is fit for royalty—and in fact, is this master bedroom was made for the mistress of the house, a member of a Qatari royal family. Calming shades of muted pink and white decorate the four walls, drawing the viewer's attention to the luxurious four-poster bed and crystal chandelier. Though the colour palette remains to be simple, this chic bedroom remains to be as elegant and luxurious as can be.

A tropical getaway is what Summer Thornton's clients wanted when they asked her to take charge of this beautiful Naples home. Inspired by the colourful nostalgia of the area, Thornton decorated the bedroom with mint-green de Gournay wallpaper featuring floral elements, alongside a feminine peach coloured four-poster bed and bright yellow curtains. A closer look at the wooden furniture will reveal carved detailing of vines and flowers along its surface.

4. London, UK

Designer Angel O'Donnell is neither intimidated nor fearful of mixing prints and colours. Just look at this artfully designed master bedroom located in Chelsea, London. After installing muted wallpaper, O'Donnell masterfully adds pops of colour to the space with a unique printed headboard, matching sculptural lamps, and red paisley coloured pillows, all further complemented by a grey throw and quilted bedspread.

New Delhi may be overwhelming for some—with all its exciting tastes, smells, and sensations, the city is ever-throbbing with adventure and dynamism. Perhaps this is why French firm, Liaigre, designed this metropolitan abode in minimalist styles and colours. Frauke Meyer, the mind behind the interior design of the home, chose to simplify the bedroom  with white walls, wooden ceilings, Mante wall sconces, and a custom-made bed frame featuring simple yet striking silhouettes.

Pops of pink and red are the hallmark of this abode located in the island state. Designed by Singapore-based firm Sujonohun, this entire home showcases colour alongside modernity. The bedroom showcases custom-made cabinetry in walnut wood, alongside reddish warm colours. Beyond this is a sitting area (also located within the master bedroom) with a salmon coloured couch and a bespoke swivel TV.

Bold colours are a hallmark in Jannat Vasi's work. A designer based in Mumbai, Vasi has put her ubiquitous style to good use with the design of this master bedroom. Making the focal point of the room a wall mural, Vasi has further complemented the room with a matching bedspread and a dark wood headboard. 

8. Bali, Indonesia

This incredible Balinese home fits in well with its owners' lifestyle. Owned by the Hardy family, this abode is made from bamboo. The bedroom itself showcases an incredible canopy of the sturdy grasses and leads out into an impressive view of the nature in Ubud.

Capella Ubud is a hotel located in the verdant heart of Ubud in Bali. Bill Bensley, the interior designer who worked with them, helped to transform its many interiors into a lively space, starting with the bedrooms. Impressively coloured and undoubtedly dynamic, this two-person bedroom is furnished with a comprehensive mix of prints and colours set off with wooden furniture and bright yellow fan décor.
