Tatler Homes Singapore hosted a lively standing cocktail session for the design and architecture community at the Liebherr showroom
The Tatler Homes Design Awards opened its 2026 season on a high note in late March with an intimate gathering at the Liebherr flagship showroom with Tatler Homes Singapore community friends. The session offered an opportunity to connect with the brand and set the stage for the programme’s milestone 10th edition, culminating in a gala on June 11 2026 honouring winners across 15 categories.
Asih Jenie, editor of Tatler Homes Singapore, set the tone for the evening with a warm welcome before handing the stage over to Gian Paolo Glueckler, head of Liebherr’s APAC Appliance Division, who offered a thoughtful reflection on the brand’s heritage and enduring design ethos.
Liebherr’s Kenneth Goh followed with a concise presentation highlighting the brand’s sleek, innovative refrigeration designs, before inviting guests to explore the flagship store at their leisure.

Founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr, the company started out as a company specialising in cranes that were crucial in rebuilding post-war Germany. Over the years, the Liebherr Group has leveraged their engineering expertise and ventured into various fields such as aerospace and transportation systems, as well as home appliances.
Liebherr chose to focus their efforts solely on refrigeration and freezing, which is the key to how they’ve managed to develop innovative products ahead of the pack. The Liebherr Monolith series is one such example—it comprises fridges, freezers and wine cabinets that can be combined into a monolith to suit your specifications.
The wine cabinets even allow users to set different temperatures for different shelves, which is important since white and red wines have different storage requirements. But this capability to customise temperature zones has also led to some creative usage amongst Asian consumers; according to the brand, some people have taken to storing their cosmetics and TCM ingredients in their wine cabinets.
Held at Liebherr’s Tras Street showroom, the cocktail session reflected Tatler Homes Singapore’s ongoing efforts to foster connections within the design community while supporting new entrants to the Design Awards.
The session was attended by esteemed guests from noted firms in the local design and architecture scene: Authors Interior & Styling, Bud Studio, IDesignerLab, Jia Studios, LA Design Studio, Mosh Interior, Quarters Architects, R+ Studio, Super Assembly, Urban Delineation, Urban Home Design
A bountiful table laden with crab angel hair pasta and beef cheek canapes, complemented by a spread of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, were well-received by the guests as they mingled with champagne and wine in hand.
