With exclusive wine dinners and four hands dinners with Indian Accent culinary director Manish Mehrotra, our senses are in for a feast in this week’s fine dining offerings
Gastronomy is the word on everybody’s lips this week as some of Singapore’s top restaurants present exclusive, one-night only dining experiences that will truly indulge your senses. From premium wine dinners to innovative four-hands dinners, there’s a lot on the discerning connoisseur’s plate this week.
If you haven’t made your way down to Indian Accent’s residency at Mandala Club, now is your time. Culinary director Manish Mehrotra is extending his residency until June 3, with two exciting four-hands dinners planned this week, with chef-owner Jason Tan of Euphoria on May 22 and chef-owner Malcolm Lee of Candlenut on May 28. Afterwards, head down to Braci, where chef de cuisine Matteo Ponti will be collaborating with executive chef Saurabh Udinia on May 29 and 30 for an exciting four-hands fusion of Italian and Indian cuisine.
The wines of Bordeaux are also taking centre-stage this week, with a three-course dinner at Open Farm Community featuring wines from Bordeaux Families. But if you’re more into cocktails, head down to 28 Hongkong Street instead, where renowned Melbourne bar Caretaker’s Cottage will be coming down for a special guest shift.

Savour, for instance, an Old Fashioned Cup of Tea, where the earthy, tannic qualities of a black tea blend is brought out by the caramel oak of Michter’s Bourbon, the sweetness of peach, and the acidity and body of orange wine. Elsewhere, mescal meets strawberry vermouth and yuzushu (Japanese yuzu liqueur) for a distinct citrus profile, lifted by salted grapefruit soda. Don’t forget the Columbia Heights, an eclectic blend of Michter’s Rye, Punt e Mus (an Italian bitter vermouth) with maraschino and absinthe.
