1. Restaurant Story

Treat your partner to a romantic meal at Restaurant Story’s first pop-up in Singapore, which takes place at Flutes Restaurant from March 29 to April 29. Hosted by chef and founder Tom Sellers, this two-Michelin-starred UK restaurant will serve up creative menus that put the spotlight on Britain’s seasonal harvest.
 
Savour some of Sellers’ signature dishes, including the rabbit sandwich that pays homage to his childhood memories of rabbit hunting with his father. An elevated version of the humble family dish, the rabbit sandwich is made up of pressed rabbit leg generously coated with polenta and fried with citrus pickled carrots and a tarragon emulsion. 2. Les Bouchons

3. Hanare by Takayama

Craving Japanese? Visit Hanare by Takayama and savour chef-owner Taro Takayama’s latest menu that pays tribute to the traditional kamameshi cooking. Translated to metal pot rice, kamameshi is a mixed rice dish typically prepared with meat and vegetables and cooked in a traditional iron pot.
 
Opt for its six-course dinner menu and please the palate with the refreshing tofu and whitebait salad, then tuck into fresh sashimi made with maguro (tuna), sake (salmon) and kampachi (yellowtail). Naturally, the spotlight is on Takayama’s signature kamameshi, where diners will get to choose from an array of bowls such as kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), salmon and ikura, and unagi—the latter is made with eel and seasonal vegetables cooked in the chef’s fragrant dashi stock. 4. Firangi Superstar

Head to this modern Indian restaurant and tuck into chef Thiru Gunasakaran’s latest menu, featuring both meat and plant-based dishes. The new menu has vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. For example, meat lovers can opt for its sacred earth samosa of Wagyu beef tartare topped with caviar and citrus pickle, while its vegetarian counterpart is a juicy beetroot tartare finished with citrus pickle and smoked potato.
 
Anticipate dishes such as the Back in the Saddle, a marriage between fork-tender lamb and aromatic Tandoori spices, served alongside confit garlic and curry leaf. The dish can also be enjoyed in the form of tandoori spiced celeriac, instead of lamb. Book here.

5. Five Guys

With 15 free toppings and 250,000 different burger combinations, you will never get sick of indulging at Five Guys. If that isn’t tempting enough, this joint has recently opened its third outlet at Ion Orchard, making it more convenient to grab this comfort food. Here, each burger is made with 100 per cent grass-fed beef, filling each bite with juicy and meaty flavours. Try the cheeseburger, made up of melted American-style cheese between two succulent patties. Then, crown it with as many toppings as you like to create your ideal bun.
 
A meal at Five Guys isn’t complete without a decadent milkshake. Each one starts with a creamy vanilla base which you can customise by adding up to eight mid ins, including creamy peanut butter, fresh strawberries, and sweet apple-wood smoked bacon.
