Opt for its five-course dinner and sink your teeth into delectable Australian fare, among which are the luxurious Australian spiny lobster complemented by heirloom tomatoes; juicy Australian F1 striploin topped with burnt pickled pearl onions and caramel onion beef juice; and tender Australian market fish drenched in a bottarga bone cream sauce. Finish the meal on a sweet note with its tangy raspberry soup with raspberry jelly, milk ice cream and elderflower yogurt. Available from February 11 to 13.

2. Dusk Restaurant & Bar

There is nothing more romantic than indulging in a four-course meal while overlooking the sunset from Mount Faber at Dusk Restaurant & Bar. The evening begins with a glass of Cupid’s Arrow, consisting of Hendrick’s Lunar gin spruced up with sweet floral fragrance. The meal follows with confit ocean trout and aromatic truffle mushroom soup. For mains, choose between succulent roast beef tenderloin with polenta risotto, morel cream and rich foie gras; or grilled spiny lobster with juicy braised tomatoes and watercress sauce. Save room for dessert and dig into a DIY Häagen-Dazs heart-shaped ice cream cake, accompanied with a customisable engraved chocolate card. Vegetarian menus are also available upon request. 3. Fire

Fire is upping the heat this weekend with its five-course Valentine’s Day menu. The spread features authentic Argentinian fare; standouts include the creamy French oysters garnished with barramundi ceviche, ikura and avocado; smoked and raw King salmon on a bed of crispy corn cakes; and the showstopping Couples Asado Platter. The latter features a medley of wood-fired bites such as Argentinian Devesa grain-fed ribeye, chorizo snail sausage and Patagonian red prawns. The platter is served with fragrant roasted vegetables and crunchy potatoes.  Available from February 12 to 14.

4. Book Ahead: Kubô

Fans of Filipino fare can head to Smoke and Mirrors next week and preview chef Kurt Sombero’s latest dining concept, Kubô. This contemporary wood-fired barbecue restaurant showcases traditional Filipino culinary techniques. Exclusively available on February 14, diners can look forward to a four-course menu, with dishes such as tuna ceviche tartine; caramelised beef tongue callos served on homemade pan de sal flatbread; and classic halo halo.
